Well the New year is upon us, have you tried any place new ? Check out ou recent entry on Banchetto Feast at the Nanuet mall. Here are a few other ideas.
Banchetto Feast - is very well appointed with a fresh bakery section upfront, nicely painted and textured walls, great lighting and sound system, nice seating and nice tile floors. All kept very clean and orderly. I sat at the bar and looked for a few items to order from the $2 Bar Menu- There was a very good selection of food and drink.
Hudson House - The long time favorite in Nyack, The Hudson House- formerly the Village Hall complete with Jail Cell Wine Cellar is a great place to unwind and enjoy a fine wine, a spectacular dinner, lunch or Sunday Brunch. Its location at 134 Main St. is in the heart of the Nyack Scene and directly across from Riverspace/Helen Hayes Theatre.
Grande Centrale - Located in Congers, NY this place brings the best of a NYC steakhouse along with a taste of Italy. Great wine selection, Martini’s and sizzling steaks makes this place near the tracks a must see stop in and around Rockland.
The Lighthouse on the Hudson - As if anyone needs another reason to visit the quaint river town of Piermont. This surg and turf restaurant seats over one hundred people on it’s spacious riverside deck, complete with Tiki Bar which overlooks the Hudson River with a direct view of the Tappan Zee Bridge. I always feel like I am on vacation when I dine there. The main restaurant seats 150 with a lounge area and has a Sunday Brunch that rivals any. Check out the Wine List, it features world class wines from around the globe, while keeping an emphasis on New York. Located at 71 Piermont Ave. Piermont, NY
Fiesta Mexico -Without a doubt one of the most authentic and favorite restaurants in Rockland County. Long time and proud owners deliver consistency and style with every meal. I literally grew up in this place. The wait staff is terrific, most of which have been there for the past 20 years or more. Enjoy the great strolling Mariachi Players who will serenade you as you dine on Friday - Sunday. Frozen drinks made with real fresh fruit and just an all around great experience. Quinta Steakhouse - Offers a wide selection of Prime Steaks, Chops, Seafood, and homemade deserts it certainly offers some of the best variety for sure. A great wine bar and sidewalk dining All In Pearl River, the daily lunch specials will make you feel as though you are in NYC- a great value for the dollar. Who says there only pubs in Pearl River? Located at 24 East Central Ave.
