There’s nothing like a rainy day in the middle of winter! You may be thinking, the perfect day to stay indoors! I couldn’t blame you. But, why not put on those rain boots and rain coat, grab an umbrella and head out to the…nope, not the mall. Guess again? Head out for some Rockland County Culture! There are 3 great art exhibits you don’t want to miss.

Where The Ocean Meets The Shore
Jan. 12 – Show Opens
Jan. 22 | 2:00 – 5:00pm (potluck supper reception)
Artists Ginger Andro and Chuck Glicksman create this shoreline based installation. On display in the Emerson Gallery through Feb. 12. ROCA. 27 South Greenbush Rd, West Nyack.

Trine Giaever Exhibition
Jan. 12 – 31
The Tappan Library’s reading room displays local landscape paintings from artist Trine Giaever. Paintings will be on display through Jan. 31st. Hours: M-Th 10:00 – 9:00; F-S 10:00 – 5:00; Su 1:00 – 5:00; Tappan Library. 93 Main St, Tappan.
